Shadow A Groomer: This option is a prequel to our courses. This allows prospective students the opportunity to watch and observe our cat grooming salon and staff. This helps to give students an idea of what to expect from the career. With our senior groomers completing 10-16 cats a day of various behaviours, ages, breeds and coat types, this is a great eye opener for our students.
Duration: 4-7 hours
Cost: $300 + GST

Disclaimer: All our courses are offered on a full time or part time basis. All our courses are available via payment plan arrangement.
For example this means that our students could complete our 8 day combined course by studying 1/2 a day per week for 16 weeks and paying via a weekly direct debit arrangement.

Cat Bather: Our cat bather course is an introduction to all things cat bathing, from service explanations through to handling to skin and coat, everything will be covered. Students will complete compulsory theory before handling any cats, as cats are swift and smart.
Students will have hands on experience with a variety of coat types and breeds. Students will only handle compliant, temperament assessed cats under supervision at all times.

Cat Groomer: Our cat groomer course is an introduction to all things cat grooming, from lion clips to comb clips and the ever growing list of add ons, there will be plenty to cover. Students will observe behavioural grooms to further understand what is considered appropriate for their skill level and what should be left to the experienced senior groomers.
Students will have hands on experience with a variety of coat types and breeds. Students will only handle compliant, temperament assessed cats under supervision at all times.
Content covered in this section will assist students with completing their Certification in Cat Grooming with Groomer Nation if students wish to.

Combined Complete Course: Our combined course includes all content from the above two courses rolled into one. This will set students up that have no previous experience in cat grooming to enter the industry as a cat groomer.
Content covered in this section will assist students with completing their Certification in Cat Grooming with Groomer Nation if students wish to.

Cat Groomer Certification: We work closely with our two wonderful friends Naomi and Lexi from Groomer Nation to allow our students the opportunity to study Australia's first Cat Grooming Certification. We are happy to be able to provide our students with the opportunity to complete their practical training and exams through us.
